The Obama plan for defeating ISIS is working and almost complete

It's impossible to defeat terrorism, since terrorism is an idea and not a country. However the Obama plan for defeating ISIS is working.
' - The attack is being led by a coalition of regional forces, not the US going it alone.
' - American's are only providing air support and limited Special Forces consulting. American troops aren't dying on the ground.
' - The ISIS Caliphate will soon be without any discernible land
Sure that area is a mess and will always be. Sure ISIS will be back again under some new name. You can't defeat an idea as long as there is the possibility of lone wolf out there. But by any traditional military measure, ISIS is almost gone.
In the meantime, there’s an election on here in the states. And Republican candidate Donald Trump appears determined to moan and whine about Mosul to the last drop of US blood lost.
