Karen Garza gets:

$300,000/year salary
$25,000/year retirement contribution
$2,000/month housing allowance

Plus a car, phone, and computer.

No telling how much in paid meals and travel.

What has she done except beg for money and convince "Ms. 29 Diner" Pat Hynes that she's wonderful?

Small wonder the district is broke.

Pat Hynes is afraid to eat in a Fairfax COUNTY restaurant ever since she started attacking them for opposing the meals tax. She, the school board and FCPS administration will only eat in Fairfax City now.

Back when she was in Lubbock, TX, people thought Karen Garza was overpaid and there was at least one financial scandal:
