Fairfax City mulls new name, logo, and slogan

$300,000.00 for this bullshit? No wonder Fairfax City is so fucked up.
Why not just have a contest? Or better yet, find something constructive to do.

Probably the DNC - most violent, lawless cartel in America today.

My company did stuff like this. Amusing as shit. Even picked official pantone colors for the logos. Every couple of years this happened. I guess someone's son with an art degree needed employment.

Wasting $300,000 when you are already so deep in debt is more bothersome than Scott "Walter White" Silverthorne's antics.

Silverthorn is not resigning. He doesn't want to. Yes, that's right. He is not concerned about the city and what his past 5 years of recent drama has done to this city.

This is a petition to request he do the right thing and resign.

Oh and City Council needs to grow a pair.

I agree as well. But you have to see a little pattern here. Poor judgment all the way around. Need to clean up the Detroit-like environment here. Logos and Brands - a total con job.

Fairfax City certainly needs a new name.

Lord Fairfax was a cruel slave holder who amassed land and wealth on the backs of his workers, who died broken and young.

The new name should reflect the diversity and struggles of our 21st century population.

The descendants of slaves in America are better off than anywhere in Africa. Blacks taken as slaves to America won the lottery by comparison to being left with the rest of the savage spearchuckers. You never see a welfare queen packing up to move back to Africa, do you?

Read an effing history book. Fairfax didn't amass land on the labor of blacks. While Charles II was living in exile someone lent him a substantial sum of money. After Charles returned to England he repaid that loan by giving his creditor a substantial portion of Virginia, basically all of the land north of the Rappahannock and south of the Potomac from the Chesapeake Bay into what is West Virginia today. The creditor died, his daughter married a Fairfax and the Fairfax family took over the creditor's claim. It was a loan and a marriage that let Fairfax amass his land holdings, not black labor.

WHY? Because it's your world and you let us all be 'in it'?
Grow up. History comes before your struggles, snowflake.
