Tough call on the weather. Wonder if they'll get the fireworks in at 9:30?

I recommend parking in the Pines Shopping Center parking lot near the Auto Zone at the corner of Monroe and Elden. Ignore all the "tuff tawk" that appears on the signs. Go into Auto Zone and buy valve caps for your tires. They're about $1.25. Keep the receipt. Be ready to present the receipt to the tow truck driver who tries towing your car. Nope...sorry...I patronized a business here!

Yup they got the fireworks in. A tiny sprinkle but stopped for the fireworks.
Started at 9:35 and went until 9:50. Not bad. Finale was good.
Another fireworks show Saturday night at 9:30.

Or you can save yourself the $1.25 and headache of dealing with a tow truck driver by parking at Herndon High School and taking the free shuttle bus.

Nope, I was at the fair tonight and mostly white middle\upper class. Not sure where they come from. Some nice looking chics in hot outfits too.
More of a yuppie crowd.
