Best Indian buffets in Fairfax county?

Where are the best Indian buffets in FFX or NoVA? I'm already well acquainted with Minerva in Fairfax, which seems to be the gold-standard, and I love it. But I'm guessing people here must have some personal favs worth mentioning, places I don't know about. I'm only talking about Inidian buffet- not Aarathi in Vienna or Haandi in Falls Church, those are awesome but they don't have buffets.

FWIW, Haandi in downtown Bethesda has the best Indian buffet IMO---there's gotta be something like it on this side of the river...

There's a decent indian buffet in the clocktower shopping center in mcnair farms . It's over by the shopper's food warehouse/pet store, right next to the big arch with the pool hall above it.

I think Bombay Bistro which is quite close to Minerva in fairfax is awesome. They have a baked whole king fish for buffet which is tres bien.

Bombay Cafe on rt. 29

Thanks for this recommendation, I ate lunch there today and it was excellent. I still think Minerva might be #1 because it has alot bigger selection, but I give Bombay Cafe two big thumbs up. Really awesome butter chicken on their buffet today.

I would take advantage of the state web site for health code violations.

Not sure I would eat at a place that stores cans of Raid over the food.

I like Bombay Bistro in the Vienna/Ffx area. And Aarathi in Vienna does have a buffett, though only on Sunday. If I remember, both of those places scored fairly well on county health inspection reports, unlike most Indian buffetts I looked up!

Aarathi has a buffet?? That place has fantastic food, I've never seen them advertise a buffet though. Will definitely look into this- thanks for posting.

Yeah, again I think it's only on Sunday. I've had one visit there--excellent food and decent service, though food selection not as enormous as Bombay Bistro.

Heritage India in DC is the best, hands down (or up). Consistently ranked excellent in Zagats, which speaks volume given that Indian food is often overlooked in the eyes of critics. -§
