More Trouble At Fairfax County Fire Dept's - Misconduct Investigator Investigated for FACEBOOK posts
WASHINGTON — The man in charge of investigating accusations of misconduct in the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department is now under investigation himself.
Guy Morgan, who heads the department’s office of Professional Standards, was placed on administrative leave Thursday. Fairfax County spokesman Tony Castrilli tells WTOP Morgan is being investigated for “conduct unbecoming” of that job title.
Battalion Chief Willie Bailey says the move follows internal complaints about content on Morgan’s personal Facebook page. According to USA9, Morgan’s page had a smattering of “lewd” and inappropriate posts. “Some of them are so inappropriate that we couldn’t show them on TV. A six-foot penis made of snow and half-naked women are two examples of the content posted to that page,” according to the station’s report.
