Lead Water concern in 22150 and 22151

Chelsea Square Apartments Possible lead in water
Chelsea Square Apartments
1 - 3 Beds 1 - 2 Baths 776 - 1230 Sq.Ft. Type: Apartment $1325 - $1550
(844) 684-8146

I suspect that there might be lead in the water in this complex.
Will Fairfax Water run tests if I request one?

Also, paint chips peeling from the ceiling of my baby's bed...

I needed a place close to VRE to commute into the City. I can't move at this point.

My question is real. How can I get the water checked.

Also, Lynbrook ES is more than fifty years old. Do they check their water?
A friend living off Ateentee ATnT refuses to let her kids drink water at Crestwood due to Lead that was found in one of the restroom sinks.

Will Fairfax water check?

I hate to be lame, but if you try Google you will find kits that let you test the water yourself. Why are you waiting on someone else when the cost is relatively low.

I haven't googled those kits.

I assume that a person can pick up the water kit at Home Depot?

Because there has been recent news about Lead detection in DC schools and homes, I was hoping that certain Fairfax County citizens might be aware of similar problems in the older communities.

I will google the testing kits.

That picture sums it up perfectly.

Doesn't lead lead to lack of judgement?

I know of at least 4 labs in VA that will send you a kit for a test, maybe $35-$50 for lead only, not the copper test. I dunno if FFX Water will do customer-initiated tests, call them and see?
