Probably not a super-feminist here, but no craps given about whether they suck or not. I mean, some of them look fine, but it's the playing we talk about here. If the girls want equal pay for "equal" work, eliminate the separate leagues and have men's teams play women's teams. Then we can see how equal they all are.
Putting aside the "equal pay for equal work" argument, the girls just don't draw the paying crowds so they aren't as good earners as the men. Anything that is worth more, costs more.

This dispute concerns the women's national team that won the World Cup last year.

The difference between this case and others is that the women involved here (the US women's national team) actually get FAR MORE attention and generate FAR MORE revenue than their male counterparts. This isn't the WNBA vs. the NBA.

The trick to watching soccer (or nfl) is dvr the game and fast forward through the parts you don't want to see.

but now i see the girl in blue shorts is also offended by the reds with a two-on-one wrestling move in a NON-CONTACT sport (give both photoes, both girls in red could be ejected from play the game quite a while - infact i think one was)
yet ... i have to think there is more to this story than these two pics - that the blue shorts are not simply always the victim
