Oh so true!
Then she probably got another housing voucher, and moved on to the next house.
We had a "Landlord" that played the Section 8 game in our neighborhood. He bought 6 homes pre-construction, and had them optioned out as cheap as possible. He got the renters in as soon as the homes went through "punch out", and that's when the trouble started.
Noise and disruption were constant. Big dogs running wild, motorbikes racing up and down the street at 11pm on summer nights, and then there was the trash situation.
Each home is issued a standard sized green rolling trash can with a hinged lid. The amount of garbage some of these homes produced was mind blowing. Dozens of white garbage bags piled on the curb a day after the trash collection was done, and the dogs loved it. Rotten garbage strewn through the neighborhood, scattered by dogs, the wind, and believe it or not some of the feral children tore into bags to play with it.
We sold our home in 2004, and bought another home further out, with more space. I don't know how it all played out, but something had to be done I am sure. This was in western Fairfax County off of RT. 50
