RG3 "OUT OF HERE"
Posted by: Jack Cant Cook ()

Certainly no surpise...... RG3 has been released.

What is also no surprise is the Redskins get absolutely nothing for what is possibly the worst draft pick in the history of the NFL. Three 1st round picks and one 2nd round pick and 4 wasted years. And what do they get in return.......NOTHING

This makes many of the Redskins and Snyder's past debacles seem minor in comparison.

It reamins to be seen if there is anything left of this guy to make a comeback with another team. He is damaged physically and most certainly mentally at this point.

So long RG3....we hardly knew ya!

***Nothing in return***

Should be the Redskins motto since the Midget took over the team.

Wonder if he gets a going away party at Danny's place?

It will be interesting to see if Robert can salvage his career. I agree he has sustained a lot of damage here. Both physically and mentally.

He'll be fine. He has his money from the Redskins, the endorsements he had, and last but not least.........his WHITE TROPHY WIFE!

He's in retirement now whereas us schmucks are still working!

He's heading to Philly so he can smack down the skins twice a year in retribution.

If you can call it that.

It's a forced retirement.

And he hasn't made nearly as much as Cousins will make just next year.

FAIL!

He remains a fascinating pick. If a team was willing to design an offense around him (as Washington was his first year), and somehow keep him injury free, he was an unusual, if with a short half life, athletic commodity.

His demise was due to a combination of injury and other teams in the league figuring out how to play him (i.e., keep him in the pocket at all costs). As with any investment, no risk, no returns. This one was risky, and didn't return very long. Fans don't appreciate the risk because they surmise that Snyder (quite accurately) does not know what he is doing.

I wish him well. He had the potential to be an Olympic champion in the 400 hurdles. Big 12 champ as a freshman, and coached by Clyde Hart, coach of several Olympic medal winners. This is not idle speculation. Football obviously paid more, so he made the smarter choice financially.

The crux of the problem from what we are led to believe is that after Year 1 RGIII - perhaps at the behest of his father - made it know he wanted to play a traditional drop-back passing game. Instead of run/option. I'd still like to know if this is really true. Did RGIII and his father try to change the Shanahans's offense?

Just another example of why football should be banned. At least RG3 can still walk and think on his own, where so many who leave the NFL cannot do at least one of those two things.

Teehee. Another Skins success story.

Don't worry though - Kirk's going to take this team to the top!!!!!!!

Based on what? He didn't beat a single team with a winning record on 2015. He led them to 9-7 (mediocre) and was able to set a bunch of records during slop time. I'm far from sold on this guy.

And now that he has filled his bank account, I think we can expect to see even less success. It goes hand in hand on this team. Trade a bunch of picks, hand a guy a pile of money on this team and they usually fail.

Will the 'Skins make it to Super Bowl LI next year?

Place bets on AFC competitor, if you say yes that is.

Sure they will. They'll be sitting in the nosebleed seats.

That 9-7 record will earn them dates with some stronger teams next year. Can another 3-13 season be far behind?

You need to focus on what's important. The above is just nonsense. Who cares how he has actually performed on the field? What's important is that he invented a CATCH PHRASE this season! Only elite QBs have catch phrases:

1027-kirk-cousins-you-like-that-twitter-

Also, he's a big nerdy nerd. Nerds have always been excellent NFL QBs:

cousins.0.0.jpg

That's why Skins Nation is sold on this guy, and you should be too!!
