"Anybody But Trump!" GOP now says

It's circle the wagons for Republicans in the wake of Super Tuesday. Trump is a phony, they say! Uniquely unsuited to be President! What a trainwreck!

Good, the establishment should have seen this coming starting in 2010. the Establishment republicans created Donald Trump. They are the ones to blame as they are the ones who opened the door for not only Trump but all the Tea Party members they hate. What do they think will happen when they run on things they said they will do if elected and when we get them in office they turn around and do the same old thing every other politician does. We need a change, the party needs to change and the country needs to change. This is why trump is getting his support, they can't control him. Whether he is the right change or not we may will see but atleast there is a chance. There is no chance with any other republican nor democrat currently running.

The right-wing is in the process of destroying itself. This will be a good thing, since the right-wing is built on nothing but a pack of stupid lies to begin with. Echo Chamber politics crumble and fall apart in the end. That seems to be what's happening now.

The best thing for the GOP would be a schism resulting in the Tea Party at the far right and the GOP (by whatever name) in the middle. That party would have a huge advantage in future elections, as it would be the centrist position, and could paint both the Dems and the TP as being the lunatic fringes.

NOT,

the GOP establishment as it stands today will never get elected as president again. The establishment does not represent the voters anymore. The voters have gotten them control of congress and pissed off they have not done any of the crap they said they would. the Established GOP and Democrats only care about themselves and their political careers not the actual people they are supposed to serve!

we may be technically out of the Recession but ask the majority of american is their life better now than 8 years ago, most of them will say either it is the same or worse. The economy is stagnant, the REAL unemployment numbers is over 15%, work force participation is at it lowest point in history, most of the jobs that are being created or low wage, low tech jobs so even some of the ones that are now employeed again are over qualified and underpaid for that they may be doing and the rest simply stopped looking for work and unfortunately this counts as a reduction in unemployment. Fuzzy math you get fuzzy numbers. Both parties are guilty of this.

Also Pulling out of Iraq was one of his worse mistakes, regardless if you believe the war itself was justified or not we needed to finish the job. We did not, we pulled out and our failure to act in Syria let ISIS fill in where we left. We made the situation worse by leaving. I guarantee you, to straighten the middle east out we will unfortunately have to put troops back on the ground eventually.

LOL! The founders founded it to be based upon a flexible, living document that could be adapted to address conditions in a future they couldn't begin to dream of. None of them wanted future Americans shackled in chains manufactured by their ancestors. As the result, all that is implied in the Constitution is as relevant as what is expressed. This has been the case from the beginning.

By the way, you look asshole-grade stupid simply for having asked the question. You could have looked it up on wikipedia, after all. Seems like you couldn't manage even that much? Just the sort of low-grade stumbling that the rest of us have come to expect from dysfunctional right-wing stooges.

So you think Obama is better than Hillary - cool that is practically glowing support for our POTUS! No, you really hate Hillary because you just hate, like a dog barks, you hate. Republicans in fact are exactly like a barking dog, they just sit and bark bark bark at whatever is in front of them. trump, hillary, obama - it doesnt really matter.

My God, but you're stupid! Tell us about all the WMDs again, you fucking whored-out hollow-head. Then tell us about how you were going to establish a transformational democracy in the Middle East once it became obvious even to stupid shits that the whole WMD thing had been just another neocon fraud. Bush went to Iraq, which was colossally stupid. Bush failed in Iraq, which was actually even more stupid. Somebody had to get us the fuck out of there. Somebody had to kill bin Laden too.

Like you I agree every decision by Bush was an epic fail. He sent us into Iraq without cause and probably as the result of a direct lie. Then he signed a treaty requiring us to withdraw. That rat-bastard stuck it to the US hard.

Of course it was all a lie, and they all knew it. But Bush wanted to go get Saddam Hussein for trying to assassinate Daddy. So he pulled out of Afghanistan -- turning a classic US victory into a colossal US defeat -- and ran off to Iraq where he had no clue and no plan for what to do. Invaded in March 2003, proclaimed "Mission Accomplished" in May 2003, and we were still there and bleeding badly six years later. What a colossal fuck-up! People thought that would be Bush's worst moment. But then came the Great Recession. Yup -- eight years of miserable disgrace and failure.

Obama never lied about sloppy handling of Above Top Secret US Documents. He was not under investigation by the FBI and was not indicted.

Obamas "colossal fail" is that he tried to be a social engineer, and a panderer for too many Democratic Freak groups instead of dealing aggressively with the economy and creating jobs that pay livable wages.

Hillary is a lying miserable "colossal, epic fail,a miserable disgrace and failure" She should never be President.

You are right, Constitution is a living document but not the way you are thinking. The constitution itself as written is written in stone and not up to interpretation. There is a reason they build into it a way to change it, to change the constitution congress by a 2 thirds decision MUST approve an ammendment and then 2 thirds of the states have to ratify it. That was the founders view on it being a living document and is built into the constitution itself. Any other view or interpretation is just plain wrong.

You still did not answer the original question though, you would make such a good politician by spinning and redirecting. To help you out we the United States of America is a Constitutional Federal Republic where the power lies not only within the state but the people themselves.

Do not confuse a Federal Republic with a Democratic Republic they are not the same. Mostly communist states such as Vietnam, Nazi Germany, North Korea call themselves Democratic republics.

there was no treaty to withdraw only a deadline of the current agreement to have troops within their borders. The intention was to negotiate a new agreement if need. Obama didn't feel the need to.

LOL! The concept of judicial review was in the Federalist Papers already. The idea that what was implied in the Constitution is as important as what was written has been a fundamental part of our law from the very beginning. Your view of things is purposely blind and fictional.

> You still did not answer the original question though, you would

Well, in the real world that you seem to know so very little about, the Great Recession ended in June 2009, real unemployment has fallen from above 10% to below 5% (people who do not look for work have never been counted as unemployed), GDP has grown for six straight years (regardless of what dumbshits might think), and LFPR is primarily a demographic indicator -- one that is projected to decline from 63% to 61% over the next decade. And as you plainly did not know, LFPR was below 60% in the late 1940s and through almost all of the 1950s and 1960s. Meanwhile, sectors in which jobs are lately being added (and they have been added now for a record 72 straight months) prominently include education, health, business and professional services. These are not burger-flipper positions.

> Fuzzy math you get fuzzy numbers. Both parties are guilty of this.

What you are guilty of is plain old blind-as-a-bat ignorance and stupidity.

The whole Bush boondoggle in Iraq was an unmitigated disaster. Like everything else he did, it went completely wrong.

Yes, we were. This is why Bush had to send Colin Powell to the UN to embarrass himself and his nation with such a flim-flam dog-and-pony show. It was also why Bush had to fabricate his phony "Coalition of the Willing" out of whole cloth. Some alleged members did not realize they were in until they read about it in the newspaper. Others had no interest in it but did have foreign assistance and other interests that were being threatened. In the real world of international politics, Bush was reviled as a reckless, ignorant, and destabilizing triumphalist outcast.

But Iraq was none of our business anyway. The document that ended the first Gulf War (UNSCR 687) was an agreement between Iraq and the UN Security Council, which remained "seized of the matter." Bush was acting as an outlaw in his unjustified and unauthorized invasion.

> ...almost every country in the world thought they had them...

Total crap. We knew what levels of WMDs Iraq had remaining in 1991 (in large part because we had been the supplier of them.) We also knew how much UNSCOM had discovered and destroyed in the aftermath of the war. We further knew from the papers of the defector Hussein Kamel that Iraq had unilaterally destroyed significant stockpiles in 1991 to keep them from becoming grounds for punishment at the hands of the west. The accounting was effectively complete. But Saddam overplayed his hand by acting and talking as if he were still a credible threat in the region. What the global community wanted then was proof from Iraq under UNSCR 687 that they had indeed disarmed and had no more WMD stockpiles. That was the extent of it. To that end, Hans Blix began roaming around at will in Iraq looking for any residual and undeclared stores. Bush had to invade before he was ready to (putting thousands of American lives at risk) in order to keep Blix from conclusively proving that no such invasion was necessary at all.

Semantics? Wow! That's incredibly weak. After some poorly coordinated ping-pong within the Iraqi government, the "Agreement Between the United States of America and the Republic of Iraq On the Withdrawal of United States Forces from Iraq and the Organization of Their Activities during Their Temporary Presence in Iraq" ) was signed by President George W. Bush on December 14, 2008. It established that US combat forces would be withdrawn from Iraqi cities by the following June 30, and that all US combat forces would be out of Iraq by the end of 2011. Iraq could have asked for a token US force to remain beyond that date, but did not do so.

most everyone on this forum and even this thread is either blind to reality or simply ignorant of the truth. I am so glad none of you will ever be in charge of anything of critical importance.

They recently released the DIA/CIA NIE ordered by Rumsfeld to estimate the "known unknowns" in Iraq. They knew there were no WMDs in Iraq so they went about trying to inflate a hypothetical WMD program.

They were ordered out of Iraq by their government and their people. They were sick of the US-sponsored terrorism like the car bomb last week. They knew the US coalition was behind some of the bombings during 2004-2011 and blamed it on Al Qaeda in order to get the Sunnis and Shia to fight each other and ask Uncle Sam for proteciton. There was the Basra incident where special forces were arrested in the process of planting IEDs. There was the release of the Rand Reporton stoking sectarian violence which Petreaus implemented. There were the revelations that the US was behind the organization of death squads under the direction of US Col. Steele.

That's what I love about FFXU. About one post in every 856 is absolutely hilarious!
