Expired Vehicle Safety Inspection Ticket

Should I go to court for my ticket situation?

I received a ticket for an expired inspection sticker. The cop suggested that I get the inspection and bring proof to court.

However, the car failed inspection and the cost to repair cost was more than the car was worth. But I took it to CarMax for an appraisal and ended up selling to them as-is.

I didn’t realize the sticker was expired. I spent $600 earlier that year to pass emissions, and somehow that stuck in my brain as the inspection – but of course it was only for emissions.

I had the same thing happen to me a few years back, and there is actually a really easy way to get out of the situation. It involves taking your own life though.
