Storm extended until Sunday...
Posted by: Two more inches ()

So now we are looking to get Friday Saturday and Sunday now with two inches Sunday. We are in an actual state of emergency. We all joke now but there will be a lot of injuries and deaths this weekend. Be safe out there.

And, in the midst of this emergency, what are our elected officials doing?

1) Driving a legitimate business (gun shop) out of McLean (thank you, Marcus Simon)

2) Promoting vast expenditures for transgender bathrooms (thank you, Sharon Bulova)

Instead of focusing on such "micro" issues, Simon, Bulova and the rest need to focus on issues affecting all residents-such as the roads. Simon and Bulova wring their hands and cry for the meals tax, but it gets no support, because it is just more money that would be wasted.

The weather is a fact of life-some tax money should be spent dealing with it. It is also an irony that the gun shop Simon chased out of McLean (near his law office, interestingly) is now in Falls Church.

All of this is just a preview of what the US would be like under Hillary or Sanders!

Good God, you are tedious. Unlike you, county officials can walk and talk at the same time. How about if a legitimate business like an abortion provider moved to your part of town? You'd be the first to try and get rid of it. And enough with the damn bathrooms. Intelligent people can agree on a reasonable solution to deal with this issue without significant expenditures. I can't believe you found a way to interject your throwback agenda into a thread about a snowstorm.

And now we return to our regularly scheduled programming...

RP -- That was funny as hell! -- made my day.
Perhaps that's what made rush hour last night, 8 hours long for some of us.
