Things You CAN'T Do In Power Outage- No cellphones, XBox, Hot Shower

What can expect once my power goes out for the weekend and a couple of days.

Obviously no electronics, no computers, no cellphones, no XBox, no TV.

No hot showers, no cooking, no refrig(ice cubes), no heat.

No lights at night.

why wouldnt your cell phone work? charge it beforehand.

there are portable heat warmers. gas. fire. little battery powered grills. fireplace.

My cellphone only lasts a day without recharging. 3 days without power, which is what happened in the last storm, means after a day(Saturday) my cellphone will be dead.

There are solar powdered chargers, car chargers, etc.

Another great thing about my gas furnace, it only needs 500 - 800 watts of power to run.

Most modems have an 8 hour battery, you can just plug in directly to your laptop or computer.

Natural gas generator on the back of my house kicks in immediately when the power fails...I hardly notice the problem. Next.
