I went to Luther Jackson middle school in 2006. Multiple times I walked into the girls bathroom right in the middle of girls having sex with their "boyfriends", we had 16 year old's still in the 7th grade, gang issues, etc. You were considered "cool" if you were on reduced lunch.

The school I had to transfer to after would be Falls Church, which had the same issues at the time. I wasn't feeling it. I'm not sure if it has improved over time, but I do know Luther Jackson has and as a result (since a good majority transfer over to Falls Church) it might be different.

Very interesting. My son will be going there next year and I don't know whether or not I should be worried. Have things improved?

They have two turf fields, and a decent football team.
