In a move to boost paid subscriptions just before a major blizzard, the Washington Post moved its popular Capital Weather Gang forum behind a paid firewall this week.

no way i'll ever subscribe to them. the way i get around it is I go to the weather gang's twitter feed and read the articles from there, and it doesn't seem to trigger the paywall like it would if i went through my browser.

Capital Weather Gang lost any remaining credibility when they jumped on the man-made global warming climate change bandwagon to explain warm temperatures, ignoring the current weather patterns that actually caused them. They knew better and should have pushed back against the editors who forced them to do it.

Just clear your browser and log in with incognito - you dont need to pay to get access to the post. it usually gives your 5-10 articles before the cookies shut you down and you have to clear the browser again.

I use Slimcleaner but there are lots out there...
