New Year's Eve is one of the best nights of the year to stay home.

Take the New Years Dinner cruise The Point of Rocks Clipper. It leaves from the Dulles Marina at 8:30pm and heads to Harpers Ferry. Great food, open bar, and dance floor are included in the price of the cruise. The rate is $275 per couple, and the cruise returns to the marina at 1:00am

For $150 more you can reserve a 3 star hotel room for 2 and that includes limo service from Dulles Marina to the hotel, breakfast, return service to your automobile the next day.

LOL..Bullshit..River is NON Tidal. Shallow , no up stream nada rides..Point of Rocks all right..Rock city!

As said by a poster..The best place is your place have your friends over and party on and then stay there..On the floor if need be.
Don't be a "Sucker" and drive home! That's ONE Thing people are "Non Partisan" about..

No Friends? Cry at the 29 Diner, any place that's 24 hours open. Ride the Metro all night long. Or go to any joint and party and bring lots of cash for a 40 dollar cab ride home and a 40 dollar cab ride back the next day if your drinking..

I'm a firm believer of staying in on NYE, but if I was still a goin' out type of guy, I'd go there.

Depends on whether or not you are having guests over. If yes, a definite possibility. If no, then only if you are a major loser.

NYE is massively overrated. Amateur night for chumps.
