No, son, it's just your stupid asshole habit to do fucktard stupid shit like that. The facts are that every single one of GAR's restaurants is a stand-out in its area. The specs are high and the importance of spec is even higher. They do things the right way, meal after meal, day after day, and year after year. Your pointless palaver isn't actually changing any of that.

A strip-mall member of the Great American chain in a non-descript area of Annandale (of which there are many). A place for 60-something rich divorcees who hit on the young male bartenders, and families who amazingly allow their kids to sit at the bar (is this even legal?) Food is okay--on par with Sweetwater. Nice Texas decor and smaller than Sweetwater.

Don't come here when the bar shift changes--you will be ignored. I walked out one time, and told the hostess that I was ignored. She could have cared less. Two strikes, they're out.

1.0 star rating 11/22/2015

Dined last night with spouse. Ordered the blackened prime rib. It was horrible, all fat; wouldn't even give it to my dog. Loaded baked potato was so cold it wouldn't even melt the butter. Chopped salad had one crouton. After i complained, manager offered me another meal, but I just asked for a refund.

My suggestion, save the $37. If you must go to Arties, never go on Saturday

Visit yelp if you don't believe me. This is what real people think of GAR.

LOL! Silverado was one of the original Fritzbee's locations. It's been there and packing them in for nearly four decades now. Excellent fajitas, by the way. They had a new test-item for brunch when I was there 4-6 weeks ago called "Wakin' Bacon". It was pretty good, but I've still got to give the nod to good old Bubble & Squeak. That's really good.

More prepubescent babble. The actual crowd at Silverado is typical of any GAR establishment: mid- to upscale people looking for a good meal, good service, and a pleasant, up-beat atmosphere, all at reasonable prices. And of course knowing exactly where they can find just that. And yes, it's legal for children to sit at the bar.

> Don't come here when the bar shift changes--you will be ignored.

Right. Bartenders who ignore people. Had you by any chance come in drunk at the conclusion of an extended session of dumpster-diving?

Well, I don't suppose they care for filthy, smelly, disgusting little whiners who do nothing but make shit up any more than we here at FFXU do.

Once again for the terminally stupid, the replies here are to the low-IQ asshole who repeatedly posts this shit in the ridiculously misguided belief that there is anyone else at all who is dumb enough to take it seriously.

So as not to keep you envious little Peanut Gallery buggers on the edge of your seats any longer, I had a very nice dinner out at Billy's Place (aka Jackson's) last night. In the end, I decided to go with the tuna poke over the deviled eggs. The tuna is so melt-in-your-mouth good, and it comes with just the right sweet and sour spice to make it memorable. I hadn't had a spinach salad in a while, so that was the next course. It was once everywhere, but you just don't see spinach salad on the menu as often anymore, and Jackson's makes a very good one. The apples and that Pommery mustard vinaigrette really make it stand out. So's to have enough room for dessert, I then went with the French Dip sandwich. They make their own butter rolls for that and pile it high with slices of prime rib. Dip, dip, yum! It really hits the spot without being too filling. And all that was topped off with coffee and the delectable chocolate waffle with vanilla ice cream. A perfect end to a very nice meal. As always, the service was great, the atmosphere was upbeat, and all things considered, the wallet was barely dented. Haven't decided yet where to dine next. I'd ask for suggestions, but it's pretty plain here that you worthless cretin bozos simply don't know your ass from a hole in the ground when it comes to dining out.

Your replying to posts that have been directly copied from Yelp reviews of GAR restaurants.

Now THAT'S terminally stupid!

Too fucking funny.

Wait until grandpa finally figures out what Yelp is. He'll be popping a vein trying to argue with the reviews.

What the actual fuck is going on in this thread? OP asked for some recipes, and a bunch of children started bickering about the quality of the restaurants. This entire thing is ridiculous. No one gives a shit if you like Arties or not. Either provide recipes for the requester, or shut the fuck up.

I found this post from a google result because I was interested in recipes as well, but instead I found this insanity. Is there seriously no moderation team for these forums?

For those who felt it necessary to add their extremely important opinions, please take it to Yelp where it belongs.
