Don't people use aliases when they are up to some no good criminal activity?

So why does Dean Takaoka sometimes tell people his name is Dean Choi? I'd like to know.

He's probably just hiding some stuff from his wife. Dean's pretty active chasing other women. He might try to hide some of it from his family, especially the black women he chases. And I think he does it on the down low too, so he might be hiding that. Not criminal necessarily, except for some of his down low partners.

Maybe he's trying to put space between himself and that rat wife Jennifer of his.
