There are organizations that run homes, similar to halfway-houses but for poor mothers (usually minorities) to support them so they'll bring their children to term and give their babies a mom themselves. Yeah it only saves a few, but that's an expensive operation to run only out of gracious donations and zero public funding.

If half the money going to Planned Parenthood was diverted to these kinds of organizations so they can expand their services, we'd have more healthy, supported mothers and babies and fewer abortions, which Planned Parenthood supporters claim they want.

But it happens that the majority of those organizations are run by religious groups, and public funding going to them is knee-jerk bad to secularists no matter the societal benefits.

If their lawful First Amendment protesting is bothering you, you can start a campaign to divert money to life-positive organizations. A lot of those protesters would probably volunteer time to work there given some better resources to work with. A protester can spend her own time and make her own sign cheaply, but can't make her own supportive house for multiple poor mothers without quitea bit more resources. Give them access to some of the PP money for those programs and see what happens.
