FCPS Teacher Code of Conduct

Can somebody please post the FCPS teacher code of conduct? My AP United States History teacher regularly and severely trashes the Republican Party and Donald Trump, professes his one sided political views, teaches history objectively, and goes into topics WAY out of scope for the course. I am not a Republican, or a Democrat--just a student in public school trying to learn, but regardless of what the views are isn't imposing political views on students and saying things like "when people like Donald Trump run for president the world laughs at us", and "I admire President Obama, I voted for him twice" just not appropriate for public school.----Oh and he has a copy of the bible and has it next to him as we are going through colonial documents. He stood on top of a desk and turned to the Deuteronomy 30 passage that was in John Winthrop's "City upon a Hill" to "demonstrate preaching.

Strict rules against that. Call the principal and let him or her know

Or, you could use it as an opportunity to be a grown individual and politely and appropriately have a conversation with your teacher about how these things are being perceived by you. Perhaps the intent is not as alarming as you make it sound and you'll feel differently. Perhaps he or she will understand they went a little far and tone it down - or they'll see that they need to explain their methods if there was a particular reasoning behind something they presented.

Anything other than "waaaah, a teacher did something I didn't completely like, so rather than have an adult conversation with them I'm going to post on the internet and/or go above their head to a Principal or the school board"

Talk to the guy. Tell him how you're feeling in a constructive way

Take this teacher an apple and thank him.

He is helping to save you from a life of embarrassment as a bitter unhappy republican. Close you mouth and listen!

There's no way what you're describing really happened that way. Try actually listening. What's wrong with teaching "City on a Hill" by standing up, probably as though on a pulpit? Sounds like you need to actually engage yourself and pay attention in class.

You should take that high school diploma and destroy it. Hopefully you never breed but my guess is you work for the government based on your reading comprehension skills.
