Another spending Boondoggle

We got a letter in the mail from Fairfax County, I applaud their enthusiasm for wanting to widen Route 28 from the Prince William County line to Route 66. Unfortunately spending funds doing this study is a waste of money that could be used for other needed resources, widening Route 28 isn't going to solve the problem of the traffic jam. The more you better the roads, the more building that will continue. We have lived in our house since 1996, over the years we have seen Route 28 get progressively worse. It's not the roads causing the problem, its the OVERBUILDING! Look at Nokesville, Bristow, Manassas, it's all built up. No matter how much you try to improve the roads, it won't make a difference. Also, what of Route 28 from the PW line into Manassas? What about the businesses and homes along Route 28, what good is it to widen Route 28 in Centreville if you aren't going to widen Route 28 all the way through Manassas? And again, you widen the road in Centreville, it's STILL GOING TO BOTTLE NECK going into Manassas!!!!!
