If you want to know how typical libs think - I found this comment in the Washington Post article about renaming Washington-Lee University pretty much sums up liberal thinking - it's also what they think about America (which was named after an Italian who utilized the services of slaves on his ships):
This might be the perfect time for us to admit that this country was founded on the principle of white supremacy and racism.
