The only other possible is that he Amtraks up to NY at least once a week and goes to Fox studios there.

His twitter has pictures with him and the celebs all the time. He can be annoying, but I give the guy credit, he worked his ass off to get where he is now. Im not hating...

I just can't figure out where he finds the time to get personal interviews. It must be in NYC because I just can't see all these celebs coming thru DC.

I don't really mind the guy either, he seems nice enough and more knowledgeable than most- I'm just wondering if he's faking those interviews.

Why is it so incomprehensible that he may commute up to NYC, or wherever, to conduct his interviews? Faking an interview with a green-screen? Why would any network invest the time and money to fake a Kevin McCarthy interview? Celebrities knock out interviews a dime a dozen - it's face time and exposure.

For being such a numbskull, I'd like to offer up a genuine and sincere, "go fuck yourself!"

Because the interviews are always visually framed the same way. Always the same two angles with some background that promotes the product. Perhaps they are done with some kind of HD Skype. Watch and tell me what you think.

When celebs are doing publicity for their new movie they will sit in a room and do interviews with like 20-30 local stations per day, It's an assembly line operation.

Every time I hear FOX News I get a good laugh.

But is that done remotely and then edited in?

I could see the reason to do the interviews with satellite and green screen them together so they look like they are in the same room.

If the celebs are giving a single take of the same answers to every station and the locals are editing in the questions, it's kind of hokey.

Of course it's hokey. It's SHOW BUSINESS, movies, TV shows, not reality. Pure commercialism, and that's what the interviews are - commercials for the movies or TV shows coming up. And not only do the stars do 20 - 30 interviews in a morning, there are 20 - 30 stars there doing interviews so the interviewers just go from one room to another, like musical chairs. The local critic only has to go to New York or LA once, and they get weeks worth of interviews. Then the local station can show them when they want. And I have to hand it to McCarthy, he works hard, he gives good, honest reviews, he knows his stuff, and his girlfriend is HOT. You want reality, watch the evening news, except for Brian Williams. But even the news shows promote what is coming up on their own networks. It's just business.

Not faking. The movie studios will actually fly him to LA or where ever to actually do the interviews because it helps them promote their product. He made many trips to LA and back when he was still working at the hurtin' Junkies show. He'd talk about being in LA for 10 hours total and then flying back.

I first heard BDK on the Junkies, they used to bust his balls. I do like the guy and would forgive him if they used some tricky editing. I don't remember hearing about him going to LA, but I believe it.

The studios where he does the interviews seem to always use the same setup and angles and I have never seen him make physical contact with the celebs he is interviewing.
