Agreed. I started a new job at Quantico last year and it is working out, now I have to move from Burke to the Stafford area this spring. The quality of life in Stafford is 10x better than Fairfax but I stayed in Burke for 12 years because I used to work at the pentagon. I cant wait to get into a house on 5 acres.

The only reason I stay is because I have two kids in middle school and high school. Once they graduate, we are moving. I can't stand this area. I think people only live here for a few reasons.

They are over 70 and were born and raised here
Jobs and proximity to jobs
They have kids in later years of school

No other reasons to live in Northern VA.

A civil settlement would really just be an insult to me at this point. The church needs to let clergy marry to reduce repressed urges and closeted applicants. Failfax has been losing population for years. Its mainly retired people hauling ass from rising crime rates, high taxes for a failing school system, sanctuary policies that attract illegal leaches which drive up taxes, crime, and disease, bedbugs and other vermin. The people leaving have higher incomes versus the one staying and the ones moving in. Basically there has been and continues to be a financial drain away from the county. This will result in higher taxes and reduced services which will lead to lower property values.
