What's up with the sudden retirement of Kim Dockery, Debi Tyler, and Phyllis Pajardo, top administrators in FCPS???!

I'm going way out on a limb here and I'm going to say that they've probably hit that 30 years service and at least 55 years old mark and they're going to enjoy retirement.

Your limb is short and broken. Most likely some criminal investigation.

Lately, due to all of the noise from Karen Garza, FCPS contracts have come under scrutiny. It has been like turning over a rock.

Administrators who can leave, are. Those who can't are making themselves scare, hiding behind the locked doors at Gatehouse. Some school principals involved these questionable decisions have not been so lucky. At least one was "surprised" to find some angry taxpayers in her office.

Going to get ugly, right before the election, too.

Those who can, are retiring. Garza isn't easy to work for and with the exception of the old horse Linda Burke who actually needs to go, others are finding better jobs so they get retirement and a paycheck. Who wouldn't go? Except Linda Burke, what a useless position, what exactly is she paid to do?

Virtually no one outside of Gatehouse knows who these people are or has any idea what they supposedly were doing. They literally will not be missed and Garza can quickly replace them with some other school administrator who is tired of kids and happy to take a cushy administrative job.

Does the Gatehouse have transgender restrooms?

Don't replace Dockery and the rest. See if anyone notices.

Then start getting rid of other Gatehouse staff. When someone notices, give the last person eliminated their job back.

It worked for Jack Welch. They ought to apply it to the whole county, but start with FCPS.

I don't about the rest, but Pajardo was high up in Human Resources.

HR exists to protect organizations from lawsuits. Folks on here think that it is next to impossible to get fired from FCPS. Nothing could be farther from the truth. FCPS is a brutal employer that fires people often, especially low level employees. HR's job is to reign in their nuttier principals/managers and to make sure that any firings are done properly.

By the time you miss HR, it's too late. Wrongly terminated employees are winning monetary settlements from the taxpayers.

(And no, I have never worked for FCPS, let alone been fired by FCPS)

too bad they can't fire HR in all the other county agencies, HR have to be the most worthless employees in any agency, they allow abuse by poor performers and do nothing for good performers. they can't even set up a mtg when an abuse has taken place. they send the abused employee to training rather than address the abuser. employees who don't show up to work or call in are allowed to continue collecting paychecks. employees who receive forced days off get moved to another group often with a promotion. employees have sex in government vehicles and are allowed to stay on the payroll even after sexually harassing other employees.

-Debi allegedly refused to fire a long time friend who was a principal in her region. So Dr. Garza said that Debi had to choose...fire an old friend or resign. spineless Debi never could make decisions in the best interest of kids.
-Kim straight up shared information with an old friend who is a region director, Mark Greenfelder, that Dr. Garza told her not to share. Then Kim lied to Dr. Garza and so Dr. Garza demanded her laptop/iPad/iPhone and found proof then placed her on unpaid leave! Apparently, Kim also called Dr. Lockhart an idiot via an email to colleagues. But the story goes that the shit hit the fan when Dr. Garza found out that Kim had a side business with Mark and Dan Parris- they were apparently consulting with Dan Mulligan on FCPS dime! Google it! Mark has tried to take the evidence down from the Internet apparently. Dan was asked to get out quietly apparently but you can still find him at the local watering hole.
-Phyllis had limited to no HR experience...a no brainer. She apparently made additional money by denying school principal requests for additional staffing from the FCPS staffing reserve...yes, a common theme...making decisions that are not about kids.

Pajardos reputation around Gatehouse, what I hear from others isn't stellar. Whispers of shady firings that may or may not be due to county policies. Will update when more is found but she wasn't liked due to her actions against many current and former FCPS employees.

Kim is hot for an older unit. Kim if you are out there reading this hit me up babe. Would love to see you again.

Most of these administrators are paid too much and do very little.

who are you trying to kid? the principal used to take care of a school and had one secretary. one maybe two grounds maintenance full time laborer. and rarely - a work crew that did special equipment grounds work - rarely.

today FOR THE SAME NUMBER OF KIDS there are multiple secretaries

and a hispanic woman with a sign on the door "labor manager / dispatcher"

and spics continualy being hired to do labor and re-do already done labor too

schools have become a breeding ground of facist communism - of foreigners using tax money to get a leg up without paying the price of entrace, of cutting in line, etc

I am in full support of trimming the fat within FCPS, but this fire all of gatehouse is stupid

180,000 students does require some supervision or is Karen Garza supposed to do it all

the whole strain of laws and funding that made public schools a spender of billions? the strain of laws which gave schooling great powers in government. all recent.

all very recent - all since the mid and late 1990's. "only government can certify course work. only those certified can work. companies are not allowed to run certification courses. government can give loans that fail, private schools cannot. government can give green cards to students who take gov loans, private businesses no."

all the people involved - it's not magic - are easily found and made responsible for any huge debts that arose - and lack of any reason for the debt.

Test Question #1: Did it help citizens who paid the taxes and who's credit made the loans possible? Does it show increase in schooling available for denizens (NOT COUNTING ILLEGALS)?

Test Question #2: Did the claims "better schooling means better grades" turn out to be true by Virginia standards tests? And was this worth the money - the having these questions answered without google'ing them?

Test Question #3: Did the claims "better schooling means BETTER JOBS AND COMMUNITY WEALTH". Are their denizens getting better non-government jobs? Or is the job market a crash - where the wage gap has accelerated and jobs are going out politically - which is a lie compared to the claims that schooling makes a difference?

Test Question #4: Are they planning to RETIRE EARLY AND RICH, knowing full well their predecessors did not and could not unless they had financially wrecked the system - which their predecessors DID NOT DO?

They are all very recent employees, time wise. Mostly liberal democrats abusing the system who deserved to be found and made responsible. People who were told no, did it anyway, and during obama had laws changed to make it seem as though things "had always been that way" when most certainly ...

MAJOR USA FACTORIES and companies were buying TV time in the 90's to warn people to buy american and also that the power of school systems (and gov) was hurting USA industry and is un-American

the county is also turning the near %100 made in Virginia (brick and wood, and metal paid for in tobacco) schools into imported ones: continually the made-in-usa things go missing, and are replace with imported equipment using taxpayer money

Kim Dockery was an arrogant, nasty school administrator who thought she knewmore about spec. ed. than the spec. ed staff. Good riddance.
