Gmu are you allowed to take a semester off
Posted by: FHS STUDENT ()

I graduated from FHS back in 2014. I attend Liberty University and I HATE IT. I went to that school, because I wanted to be away from my forks. I am not going back to Liberty for the rest of the semester, does anyone know If I can go back to Mason or will I have to re-apply?

What do you mean by "go back to Mason"? Were you ever enrolled at Mason? If not, of course you have to apply.

If you never attended you need to reapply. And you're attending college now, so you'll be considered a transfer student. If you're bombing classwork at Liberty you won't get in, but may be able to redeem yourself with a few good semesters at NVCC. Good luck!

Seems like a lot of money wasted.

If you can get good grades now, use the Guaranteed Admission Agreements NVCC offers. http://www.nvcc.edu/current-students/transfer/Search/GAAAdmission.aspx

Anyone wanting to save a boatload of money should go to NVCC and use an agreement.

you can't transfer into mason bc you flunked out of another school

mason now requires a 3.5 or higher and you have to apply

I'm an idiot and a moron who can't hack it at Liberty Community College. I'm entitled to attend GMU next semester because I shouldn't have to earn anything in life.

He can transfer if he does well at NVCC (or probably any Virginia community college). I don't think the GPA is quite that high for community college transfers. NVCC is great for this kind of kid; however, he needs to find some internal or external motivation (like working a crappy job and hating it). Otherwise, don't bother.

is that true of any va public university?

can one flunk out of uva, vt, jmu, odu, take classes at nvcc, then automatically transfer into uva, vt, jmu, odu through guaranteed admissions?

do colleges take back kids who flunked out or does a student have to transfer to a different college?

taking a break from life is like taking a break from eating: your not supposed to

so, you must have your head on backwards

------------------------
make sure you have GUARANTEED work lined like obama and spics do before handing democrats (or loaning) tens of thousands of dollars. they can and will use the money to take the job you would have had, and put a facist gun to your head

or be a fool and figure: what i need to do is throw more money at classes until they say i am ready to look for opportunity. 1,000,000 useless problems solved later, in many cases
