Not sure but I would look into it. Supposedly there is some Taliban, Disney world, daycare thing going on. A local daycare uses Boosterthon it would seem and they may or may not be affiliated with Disney World

We're going to make it our life mission to take down the zombie mind control company called Boosterthon. This is X-files type stuff going on here people! Chris Carneal, Brett Trapp, Samford, God, Disney World, Muslims a dodgy daycare and more. My head is spinning from all the controversy.

I would say that there's no place for Boosterthon in public schools. Let them confine their operations to Christian schools.

The accounts of Boosterthon workers bringing Bibles into classrooms are disturbing.

Change the regulations so that no "fundraiser" can "teach" unless they meet minimum VA requirements. Going to be a problem for all those U Ga dropouts and Logos graduates.

Boosterthon's days are numbered!

No, their days aren't numbered. The company is actually growing. Reason? Because it's only a few crazy people that complain and schools already know those people are crazy and they expect them to complain no matter what the school does. You just get tuned out. Most people like the program and fundraiser they offer. We're excited to welcome Booster back to Centreville Elem next year. Most of our parents and teachers loved it.

My school did Boosterthon last year and did not use it this year. Last year after Boosterthon's cut the school got $49,500. This year we raised $31,000.

Boosterthon's people ran a good operation, motivated kids, and disruption to learning was minimal. It was and is an impressive operation. They certainly get their cut, but they do a good job.

Growing's post is a good point. If the school saves a lady's life and delivers her baby, some parents will complain because her kid saw some blood on the carpet. There is always somebody complaining about something. Always. Boosterthon isn't cheap, but the lessons they do are good and they really do motivate kids.

New regulations are going to change the way Boosterton operates. They won't make as much money, due to the fact that it will be much easier for parents to opt their kids out of the Carneal/Trapp propaganda scam.

Also, Booster is feeling the heat from competitors such as Apex, who are just as bad.

This whole type of fundraiser is probably going to self destruct.

You can create controversy from anything if you try hard enough. Schools do a lot of things during the day. Assemblies, field trips, science fairs, book fair and much more. They don't teach in the classroom 100% of the day. The character and leadership program that Boosterthon offers is just another addition to the educational process, and Boosterthon pays for the entire program and all of the materials out of the percentage they receive. T-shirts for all kids whether they get pledges or not, is a major cost, plus staff pay, character curriculum materials for all kids, race materials and much more.

You can argue that schools already teach character traits, but they also teach science and kids still go on science field trips. Part of instilling certain things in kids is doing it a few different ways. Boosterthon offers something to schools that reinforces positive character traits, they raise a lot of money and they cover all costs out of their percentage.

If Rubio becomes president, he'll have the kids burning crosses and reciting the Book of Mormon every day. Yes, it is a weird mixture but what do you want from a former Mormon who got endorsed by George Allen?

Given that Ted Cruz is an evangelical is it possible that Rubio would side with the Boosterthon people to get points with both families and evangelicals? The whole thing about his being a Mormon is just too odd. Chris Carneal is well known in evangelical circles and his presence as an endorsee could help Rubio get much needed votes to secure the nomination.

Trump would also calculate out that fundraising during the school day costs the taxpayers about $13 an hour per child, like we calculated. He would cry foul. You actually lose money on Boosterthon.

He would torpedo it.
