Best food for deer?
Posted by: TnWvw ()
Date: January 08, 2015 04:06PM

I just noticed a deer in my backyard, he looks pretty tired from last night's cold weather. Does anyone know what is a good food to give them? I have a lot of canned beans but not sure if it would give him diarrhea or something.

You're not allowed to feed deer in VA. Fatass.

Dried corn is used as deer feed. Beans will just bring a stray dog of vermin like opossums or raccoons

He may be ill and laying down to die. If so, then you don't need to feed the fox.

Did they offer you the meat? It was, after all, in your backyard.

Yea they said we could just drag it into the woods or put it near the road and VDOT would come get it. It ended up limping pretty far and he shot it near the road, so VDOT is going to come get it tomorrow I guess.

They die in your yard, you eat. Wouldn't be a burden. It did have a broke leg. Disease doubtful.

Then they shouldn't want it to go to waste.

They need to consume it so that the animal spirit is joined with theirs and lives on.

Really, 20 minutes with the chain saw and the freezer's full.

I love animals too. I'm just as happy to shoot one with a camera as with a gun. Maybe more so. But venison is good eating. And animal control killed it. So no guilt. Deer overpopulation is more harmful than deer maintenance. We are the deers only natural predators left in these parts. So don't dog on me for my beliefs. Unless your a vegetarian, there's no room for that talk. Someone else does the dirty work for you. Be it fish, chicken, cow, pig, or whatever.

Buckshot.

Where I grew up, the cops all had a friend they would call to come take the carcass for butchering. Wonder whether FCPS or VDOT does the same.

Best food for a deer is lead.
Quit being a pussy and shoot it. Make sure to tag and report the kill. Then either take it to a butcher or process it yourself.
Otherwise, be a pussy lib and bitch, complain, blame others and suck cock.

For future reference deer are also partial to apples. I once even fed some cheese popcorn. I was driving to 7-11 late one night and passed a group of deer standing by the road. It was cold and I wanted to get them something and cheese popcorn seemed like the best option from 7-11's limited selection.

P.S. Gunlover you're a faggot with a tiny penis.

I asked VDOT they take carcasses to make mulch.

The deer they hunt in the winter go to homeless people to eat.

Exactly. Considering the circumstances you have no way of knowing what it may be carrying. Never shoot an animal that appears to be unhealthy if you intend to eat.

To the one who posted about Bambi.

Bambi is dead. I killed him in Front Royal years ago. He was old and tough
so we made burgers.

The deer is getting eaten by the neighborhood animals, starting to look pretty nasty. It's sort of next to the school bus stop. I guess I should move it into the woods or something.

Why don't you move the dead deer, instead?
