I think we all should lay down in the middle of intersections to protest the unfair decisions that the school board makes. Let's make this peaceful. No looting etc. If I had a son, he would look like the person that made the decision to have classes on time today.

"(1/6/15) 6 p.m.

All Fairfax County public schools and school offices will open two hours late on Wednesday, January 7 (Condition 3). Central offices will open at 10 a.m. Details.

The public hearing has been postponed until Wednesday, January 7, at 6 p.m. at Jackson MS due to safety concerns related to the anticipated icy road conditions.

The following schools serve as polling locations for today's special election in the 34th House of Delegates District and will remain open for voting until polls close at 7 p.m.:

Langley High School, Cooper Middle School, Colvin Run Elementary, Churchill Road Elementary, Forestville Elementary, Franklin Sherman Elementary, Great Falls Elementary, Spring Hill Elementary, Westbriar Elementary, Wolftrap Elementary."

There is no logical reason to have a 2 hour delay tomorrow. The roads are clear. This is a make up call. Everyone in the FX County schools central office should be fired.

I was told the high taxes here in this shithole is for education. ..hope their not being educated by the weatherman.
Them delaying school tomar. and not when it was needed, is them saying were inept but we want to appease you so we can still get a paycheck even tho we are not qualified for this job.
