We'll the road I was on Sunset Hills Rd. has the "traffic" the road he was on is clear. But he must of been going fast, tried to beat the yellow lights, and flipped. idk.

Good thing you slowed down to rubber neck and take a picture as well!

I was stopped at the traffic light - so technically I didn't rubber neck.

Definition of rubber neck: "someone slowing traffic down because they are too busy looking at something/someone"

I'll bet the kayak-er was drunk!

Seriously, how do you flip that truck on to the roof?

(Nice pic!)

Maybe if you weren't fucking around on your phone you'd know why he was yelling at you.

I don't blame him. I know I can't drive and take pictures at the same time, and I don't care if there was a light or slow traffic, neither canoe.

I am a woman. I

intended a different tone in that message.

I'm thinking you thought I was an asshole male?

Imagine a woman saying that same thing.

I find it rather amusing that it's not the upside down truck but the canoe that is the WTF part of the picture.

Yeah, 90% of Stonegate just plain ol' doesn't work, except for the evening hour drug market.

That really doesn't answer my question 496, but it's cute to see you're still bitter about retiring as a Staff Sergeant. Guess those needs improvement on your NCOERs kinda bit you in the ass.

I'm sorry, 496, but LOL at the NCOERs comment. Just do a Ch. 31 GI Bill and you'll be on the road with the rest of us headed to office jobs in no time!!

nice... We've got people lined up to bitch about the non safety of the metro, and those same people are out there flipping a pickup over in plain old every day rush hour traffic with no assistance. I don't even think I could do that to my car if I tried. Good thing that person wrecked before they got out on the water and drowned.

The cop can go F himself for yelling at you.

Where are the life jackets and oar(s)?

And an even better question, why aren't there any Fairfax helicopters hovering over?

good thing the canoe/kayak looks to be in good shape, because I'm sure the insurance wouldn't cover it.

Looks like a photoshop job to me.

The truck's roof is not flattened.

It looks like it's floating off the pavement.

It's NOT photoshopped, I took the pic on a BB curve and while in motion - so the quality is bad and it's a bit distorted.

Call the Reston division and verify the accident.
