So according to CollegeBoard, 27,451 students applied and only 5,821 were accepted. However, 23% of their entering freshman class had under a 3.0 GPA in HS which is pathetic. How dumb must you feel being one of the 21,631 students that did not get in.

Today it's not uncommon for students to "apply" to a half dozen or more schools.
Heck, at the last "college night" we were told to apply to "at least 10 if possible".

"college" metrics are a fucking joke.

I'm disgusted with the State of Virginia for granting Liberty accreditation.

A friend of mine went to Liberty for two years before transferring. He was sorta religious back then but now isn't anymore. He doesn't bash the place but his stories make it sound pretty stupid & ridiculous. A lot of mandatory church service attendance, like daily, and you can get into serious trouble for skipping it. lol, how's that for "liberty"? He said you could actually get expelled if you told people you didn't believe. A whole lot of rules that even strict parents would be embarrassed of. And unlike real schools, the "cool" kids on campus were the vocal evangelical types, dudes who had a social following because they walked around acting like televangelists.

It actually sounds like living hell, lol.

I know someone whose parents forced her to go there. She's not religious at all now and honestly doesn't like to talk about having been there.

Just checked on it ---the 4 year graduation rate is 27%. Pathetic.

...I would strongly encourage any members of Liberty University who might be here to leave and go to a proper university.

It used to be called Liberty Baptist College. On his TV program, Fallwell was always promoting something called LUSL where you would get college credits for things you did outside school and prior to enrolling in their online school. The reason most don't graduate in four years is probably their requirment that all students perform missions.

That is not a requirement...

They have to be involved in some Christian public service. It's like a work requirement than a mission.

Liberty students can earn extra credits through public service, like handing out Chick tracts door-to-door or standing in front of Planned Parenthood screaming religious condemnations at passerby. It's part their mission in growing champions of Christ.

I'm not overly religious, but from what I can tell the school has no more problems than any other private collage, it's not Harvard or anything. Of course I am not like some of you, in that I do not believe every review that I read online. If you notice the top right corner of the reviewing site's logo, than you see some writing that appears to be some form of arabic language. I wouldn't be surprised to hear of a site with an Islamic slant, bashing a Christian school. I mean really come on, the school is not my cup of tea, I would not personally attend a Conservative collage or a Christian school. The collage doesn't seem to be a bad place to attend, especially is you are going to transfer.

The reviewing site (after a little Google researching) itself is a liberal blog were people routinely post false and misleading information, so you can guess what information is coming from them. Remember when reading online, take everything with a grain of salt. Conservatives are guilty of the same thing. Both parties are full of nut jobs, people who could never see what is happening to America, at the hand of our politicians.
