My vote is for the threads on Michael Puebla Berling. Surely they helped force the family to flee to Maryland, sell their house and Officer Berling to retire. Oh, and expose the mother of allowing a toddler to die in her care and not get charged or prosecuted. What a fucked up family they were/are!

The FCPS Principal Parking Pass Slush Fund thread. Lots of memories of fancy restaurants, fancy hotels, sketchy records, no records, luxury admins, room service, massages, baseball games, ice cream, presents, flowers galore, all paid for by citizens of the county. Money we thought was being spent on the students.
And we all hope/know it made a lot of administrators very, very angry.

In late 2013 and through most of 2014, Lane Myer has been dishing advice about High Occupancy Toll (HOT) Express Lane (claimed lack of) toll enforcement on the Beltway. Lots of misleading info bounced back and forth all thru the thread, but I guarantee the thread pulls in tons of visitors (fresh fish) to FfxU once the HOT Lanes on I-95 get going come January. Scofflaws will abound.
Folks commuting with < 3 are gonna get tired in a hurry of paying a $10-$20 toll for a 29-mile ride only to bottlneck at Edsall Road when merging back onto the main lanes. I'm not a fan of HOT overall, but that was a definite mistake not running it all the way to the Pentagon. And it would've been so cheap to make it happen...only the gantries and the HOT northbound exit to Seminary were needed.
Slugging, on the other hand, is going to be more popular than ever. Also, the evening commute, as well as toll-free weekend trips with the family, should be much improved.

I think all of those might really be the same guy -- the one who's always slamming Merrifield and claiming that Vienna is nothing but mattress stores? Rumor has it that he's a disabled shut-in who lives in FC somewhere down near Seven Corners. I don't know, but every time I see some flimsy claim hyped way beyond any sort of sense or sanity, I think that must be that guy again.

The Megan Toohey thread was by far the best this year. Been going string for four months now, and Megan keeps it going by continuing to jump in and attempt to defend herself. It's also kept interesting by all the little juicy tid bits that keep getting exposed.
