Fairfax County Adult Probation

I was convicted on july and had my screening for adult probation a couple days later, since then I have not gotten any calls from any probation officers or anything, all they did was put me in for screening the first time. It has been two months now. Will I be penalized for them not contacting me or me not contacting them?
