Family Photo Season
Date: May 25, 2013 12:12PM

It's that time of year again, the perfect weather for family photos. I'm a local photographer and wanted to extend my promotion price of $50 for outdoor family portraits to this forum. Anyone interested, please reply to my email, jdavisphotographs@gmail.com , I look forward to working with anyone off the forum in capturing family portraits that you would be proud to put in your home.

Thank You,
J. Davis Photography

PLEASE someone tell me this is not paid for by tax dollars to somehow promote school spirit, jobs at Cutco, or portraits for the jackbooted zoning officers working for Sharon "swastika" Bulova

Thanks so much for your fine work. I think you really caught the "spirit" of my family in this shot.

While I applaud your efforts in self promotion, I think this is another case where simply having an expensive camera makes you a "photographer".

Has anyone seen this guys work? His claim to fame seems to be shots of a HPOA Russian girl with a terribly crooked horizon in the background. This can ocassionally been "artistic", but with the trees in the mid-ground it just looks like you caught the curvature of the earth. It's photo101. Don't do that.

That said, $50 with 4x6 prints included is about right for this guy.

Keep shooting Hot Russian Girl in skimpy outfits and you can borrow "photographer" for your business cards.

To all the members on this forum, I apologize for not leaving sample work. Instead of trying to re-image my photo size down to work with site, I'm just going to include a link to my facebook page.

https://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/J-Davis-Photography/420513401354724?hc_location=stream

Is the company new? yes, I started it out this past January. I decided to post on this forum to reach out to more possible clients. As far as the comments about the skinny model and car, family portraits has nothing to do with that. Anyone who takes time to look at the page will see that I can take great quality "Family" portraits. And the resolution of the final product can be as large as you want it to be. I usually send 8X12 size out for final product, but whatever size you need, I can do.

I can definitely guarantee that you won't end up with the photos members have been so generous to provide.

Meh. Not bad, but nothing that I haven't seen my wife's 22-year-old cousin do with a decent camera and a nice publishing suite.

I dunno, I think he does a good job considering what he has to work with.

I guess I mistaken this forum, title says a way for Fairfax residence to communicate. Didn't know it was just a bunch of people who like to sit on their computer bashing someone who is just trying to offer photos to families who don't want to over pay.

For Fairfax being one of richest counties in the U.S., you guys really show the class that comes with it.

For a businessman, it seems like you did not do your homework if you are surprised at the reactions to your post.

Go and find some people with school spirit, offer to take their pictures at a discount.

Then, send copies to Sharon Bulova.

The work will roll on in for you.

By the way you should watch out for the zoning enforcement people unless you paid up the $5000 for a photography license.

Selective color, under exposure, and over doing the HDR... your shit is amateur. Stop trying to charge people and practice more.

J. Davis,

What's the backstory with those hardcore super-lesbians you photographed?

I was thinking the same thing, I mean this is just like feeding red meat to the hyena's.

On the other hand, I think he did a nice job capturing that magical moment in this one...
