Take a look inside the state's most expensive home for sale. The guest house was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.

Virginia's most expensive piece of real estate for sale is The Falls, a nine-bedroom mansion in McLean. It costs a chunk of change, but it's not even as much as the nine-figure properties in some of America's hottest real estate markets.

Nestled along the Potomac River, the home is on sale for nearly $62.95 million from TTR Sotheby's International Realty. It ranks as the ninth most expensive home for sale in the country, according to PropertyShark. The real estate website analyzed active listings across the U.S. to identify the most expensive home for sale in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

The Falls went on the market earlier this year, according to The Washington Post. The last owner was the late James Kimsey, co-founder of AOL. Located above Great Falls Park, the home's amenities seem endless: an infinity pool with sweeping views of the Potomac, mahogany library with a wet bar, 3-D media room, master suite with a massage room and private kitchen, and much more. The guest house, known as The Marden House, is a Frank Lloyd Wright creation in the shape of a fish.

Before it became today's lavish mansion, Scott Stupay built the home on the land. According to Washington Business Journal, Kimsey bought the site in 1999.

Here's more information on the McLean listing from TTR Sotheby's International Realty:

The Falls, McLean, Virginia

Price: $62,950,000
Square Feet: 48,900
Lot: 3.2 acres
Bedrooms: 9
Bathrooms: 13 Full and 7 Half Baths
Features: According to the property listing, the custom-built estate reflects modern architecture and luxury living on a coveted location above the Potomac River. The nine-bedroom home includes a two-story living room and infinity pool with unbeatable views of Great Falls, as well as a 3-D media room, wine cellar and private master wing with numerous amenities. The main residence has a garden pathway leading to a guest house, which Frank Lloyd Wright designed.

According to PropertyShark, homes on the most expensive list range between $3.5 million to $500 million. The $500 million home is a Los Angeles property called "The One." The home has "20 bedrooms, four swimming pools, an in-home theater, four-lane bowling alley, a private nightclub complete with VIP room, 30-car garage, actual moats and even jellyfish aquariums as ceilings," PropertyShark writes.

Here are the 10 most expensive listings in the country, according to PropertyShark:

The One, Los Angeles ($500,000,000)
90 Jule Pond Drive, Water Mill, New York ($175,000,000)
935 & 939 Hillsboro Miles, Hillsboro Beach, Florida ($159,000,000)
West Creek Ranch, Gateway, Colorado ($149,000,000)
19 Great Island Road, Darien, Connecticut ($120,000,000)
300 State Route 28, Crystal Bay, Nevada ($75,000,000)
2676-E Kauapea Road, Kilauea, Hawaii ($70,000,000)

I wonder if the ex-news FAG, Will Thomas, is the realtor? He works there now.
He's such a homo-faggot! I heard he drank his way (cum guzzler) to the top!

Once I win the lottery I will buy homes next to liberal politicians. I will then rent them out to illegals, minimum 15 per house, and see the true tolerance of liberals.

This house certainly looks luxurious, but the $62 million it's a lot. I think that here can bargain up to 57 million. I hate when people make price markup. Well you can see what price this house is worth. All the same, sooner or later it will be possible to bargain to the price that this house is worthy of. For example, when I was looking for a house, I paid attention to how the house looks on the photo and its compliance with the price. I was eventually able to find a company where the house prices matched to each other. You can click and see for yourself.

YEa! Don't buy a mansion in California where the mexican mob will home invade you and abduct your family member and force you to give up bank information.

Buy in Virginia where the mexican mob doesn't run Los Angeles.

OH - WOW - VIRGINIA IS NOW ALL DEMOCRAT AND SINCE THE PROPERTY IS ON FFU AND NIGGERS AND SPICS HAVE THEIR EYE ON IT ...

maybe the property is "no longer a safe place"

That's the fantasy asking price. The seller can ask for any amount of money. The world is full of $62,000,000 houses that sit empty for years then sell for $22,000,000.

It is located BELOW Great Falls Park, and is nowhere near Great Falls Park. It is just up from Chain Bridge.

Yeah, and it sold for $22 million much less than it's original $100 million asking price
