I keep hearing and reading the word "woke" and really dont know what it means , but I have an idea it is something we now old Hippies changed the world with starting in the 1960's when we embraced the idea that all people are equal at birth as humans not colors as we judged each person individually by their deeds, not by their skin color. looks , clothes or religon or schools and colleges they went to or their places of birth and where they lived
