The entire Lafayette, Ind., Police Department command staff recommended that Lt. Tom Davidson be fired for pushing over a wheelchair-bound man who ran over his foot last October, but the officer was only suspended and put on probation. Lafayette, Ind., Police Deptartment

The cop was acting in self defense - there was a threat that the man in the wheel chair would back up and run him over again! You could see the cops foot was nearly crushed (hope the doctors can save it). I like the way none of the cops tried to catch them man as he was falling from being pushed over by the other cop.
A normal reaction would be surprise and annoyance. Even a thug would probably let a guy in a wheelchair slide on this - not a cop. Only cops feel they can assault literally anyone for any reason.
