Montana Gov. Steve Bullock (D) refused to answer if he receives a monthly paycheck from his brother’s company during a Saturday debate with Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT); Bullock’s brother received more than $14 million in state contracts during his tenure in office.

reported 1st on FFU*, Virginia recently made a law MAKING NEPATISM LEGAL - ONLY FOR CERTAIN HIGHER UP WEALTHY DEMOCRATS, but still illegal for conservates. the bill almost places a persons name in it (because only one possible person benefits from the law), though not quite.

the Virginia Bill allows one brother in government to operate contract decisions that another brother "in the business" has the business of.

it's really not true that usa has a history of "preventing men with company interests" from being in congress

BUT IT IS VERY TRUE Congress was not well paid and were "checked within reason" to not be simply walking out the door with federal money - not awarding big contracts to family members. impropriety was definitely not part of the US tradition. fondling, however, was
