When is the county executive going to pay county health workers hazard pay for working on pandemic teams while the rest of the county workers stayed home and teleworked? These healthcare workers went into nursing homes and other businesses to stop outbreaks! In the beginning, the health department wouldn't even let the workers wear face masks or eye protection! Many of these workers were pulled from their regular jobs and given completely different roles which were unfamiliar from their jobs and they bravely went into outbreaks to help people. And these workers cannot even take a vacation longer than 5 consecutive days in a row. They are being held to a different standard than other county workers! The Board of Supervisors and Bryon Hill need to step up and compensate these workers! STEP BOS and County Executive Bryan Hill!!!
