3 Shot in Tysons Near Hotel New Year's day

TYSONS, Va. (WJLA) — Three people were shot during a New Year's party at a hotel in Tysons, Virginia. A fight at the party spilled out into the parking lot of the Hawthorne Suites Hotel.
At 3 a.m. Wednesday, shots were fired and three people were shot and wounded. The victims were transported to an area hospital with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening. Detectives interviewed several partygoers following the incident.
The shooting occurred in the 8600 block of Westwood Center Drive in Tysons Corner.
An investigation into the shooting is underway and authorities do not have information on a suspect at this time.
This is a developing story that will be updated

I was wrong, it did turn out to be blacks. It's on the FCPD news blog now. Was gang related, but some of the initial radio traffic was incorrect. One or more of the victims may be Hispanic, though. I have the fire department incident channels set to higher priority, so the PD radio traffic was getting stepped on and I missed a lot of it. They also probably switched to an (encrypted) ops channel so a lot of information could have been missed due to that.
