$2000 Reward for Stolen Dog

Below copied from another board.
This dog was stolen from a vehicle in Middleburg, VA on Thursday, Sept 6. A second and larger dog was stolen at the same time.
That second dog was found near Gallows Road and Route 50 in Fairfax County on Friday, Sept 7. That is quite close by.
The missing dog can be recognized by the black spots on her white ears. Owner is offering a $2000 reward for the return of the dog.
Since Middleburg Police are investigating the theft of the dogs as a possible felony, you probably would want to call your local police (Fairfax County, Vienna, Falls Church, etc.) if you see someone in possession of this dog, unless you are relatively sure that the person is not the dog thief.

Awww, poor baby! That's sad. I hope the owner gets his pup back soon. If I found that dog I wouldn't even accept the reward money.

This is a scam. The dog's original owner, Malicia von Falkenhausen, has no intention of actually paying the reward.
When someone shows up with the dog and tries to claim the money, von Falkenhausen will say that the person either stole the dog himself or is in cahoots with the thief.
Rich people run scams like this all the time.
Someone's already bought the dog for like $100-200, which is several hundred dollars less than a purebred Jack Russell Terrier would actually cost, and the thief has long since smoked or shot up that cash.

OMG, such a cutie! I think the one that stole it had his eye on her for a long time. I can't believe that such people exist and have no feelings for the poor puppy and the owner as well. I couldn't resist if something happened to my dog, and I even got a Personalized Dog Necklace because he's my treasure. I don't have kids yet, maybe this why I love him so much. I'm so sorry that this happened to you and I hope you find the thief, and he will be harshly punished because such people really need a lesson.

The pups go everywhere with von Falkenhausen and Thursday night they hung out inside her air conditioned truck while she ran inside Red Horse Tavern to pick up dinner. But when she returned 15 minutes later, the truck was ransacked and the dogs were gone.
Catahoula, Cash was found by animal control the following day in Fairfax. He was found dumped by Gallows Toad and Route 50, suffering an injured leg in the process.
Shouldn’t of left the pups in the hot car. Air conditioned truck my ass.
