What is up with the 2000 time stamp on the video? What is the point of having a dash came that does not have the correct time/date stamp? Would be thrown out as evidence in a heartbeat.

By your logic, I could hold up a 7-Eleven, shoot the clerk, and even though my face was clearly shown in the surveillance video, I could claim the evidence wasn't valid because the time stamp on the video was 1/1/1999, when I was six years old.

HAHAH you are dumb. Please tell me that you know that TV shows like Law and Order are not how the courts actually work. Tell that to the Loudon County judge that allowed another video of mine to be used as evidence in a reckless driving case. Are you so dense that you think that although the video has the same cars, license plates, people, and location that since the timestamp is off that it must be thrown out? If you get into an accident with someone with a dashcam and try to use that in court I hope to be there when they laugh at you...

It would be much better if we'd have more people like you. It is really necessary to give all possible proves after an accident happens. Almost during every accident appears a contentious situation and only some real proves are able to solve this problem. There are many drivers who have the recording video camera but they don't want to stop and to help whom is not guilty. When I had a car accident I decided that I'll not lose my nerve there and I just called a car accident lawyer who helped me very quickly with my problem.
