Close browser, delete cookies/history.

Open incognito browser. Use Firefox if you've been using Chrome, or Safari or Opera if you can find.

Start threads with harmless titles about child nutrition or local parks. Then hit them with the truth they are running from.

No threats or obscenity. Just ask them about censorship and remind them of their place in the world.

The owner Actively deletes posts they think a re trolls.

Correct, anything pro-Trump or just common sense is deleted there.

The owner starts the threads, then post few follow-up supporting responses, and the few other libs who post there think having only anti-Trump posts there proves their majority and solidarity of the whole Internet.

It all will end up with tears and hysteria just like in 2016.

Unless the site went down, I got blocked, too, for agreeing with a post in the Politics section which I usually avoid but happened to look at because of the impeachment announcement (or I think that's why, who knows).

I've been seeing lots more posters complaining about being blocked over there lately. I suspect it's going to get more touchy and take a lot less to get blocked with an election year approaching.

Here's how you unblock access to DC Urban Mom.

Start a command window (cmd.exe) and type "ipconfig". Hit enter.
Look for your "Default Gateway" address in the output. It is very likely to be 192.168.1.1 although it may be something else.

Start a browser window and use type the ip address where you would usually type the web page address.

You will probably be asked for a userid and password which will probably be written on the side of your wifi router. If not the defaults are usually "admin" and "password".

Once logged in you can make changes to your wifi router settings. The config pages will depoend on your router manufaturer and model - but you basically need to find the broadband connection settings.

You should check and see what your IP address is (make a note of it), and then ensure you are set to "Obtain IP address automatically" and then release and renew your DHCP lease. Check your IP address to see if it has changed. If it has - great you're good to go. If not try releasing it and wait a few minutes before renewing it.

Once you have a new IP address then DC Urban om will open up for you to hit again :-)
