I have a two kids going to my local FCPS secondary school. Why is the school handing out swag bags of merchandise to teachers/

If we had a proper online situation then the teachers should have the ability to shut down the video feed coming from any student if it appeared the student's surroundings were inappropriate. Then this kind of horse shit doesn't become a problem.

Problem. If teachers had the power to cut the feed, TRUMP students would be selected as inappropriate and shutdown. BIDEN students would be called appropriate and permitted to remain.

If teacher cuts feed she will have to report to principal who will report to police and you as parent would be arrested.

The student's ability to learn would not be affected. We provide our employees with PPE, coffee & tea and we usually pick up a few lunches during the month. Most employers in my industry do this. Just because yours is so cheap that it makes you bring your own toilet paper does not mean that teachers are getting pampered.

If your company's shareholders or ownership support that practice then that is not a problem. Shareholders who object to the practice can sell their shares and be done with the company. Can taxpayers do the same?

We have a School Administration and a School Board that is extraordinarily wasteful when it comes to spending. That does not mean that every spending decision it makes is wrong. Spending to maintain employee morale pays dividends as much in the public sector as in the private. If you are so cheap that you begrudge teachers being given swag that probably cost a few bucks, then you probably should be living some place like Alabama.

School board, administrators, teachers all use the taxpayer supported educational platform to spread their liberal bullshit. Conservative parents and students should have the same opportunity to express their opinions in the same arena without suffering discrimination because of their conservative views. Liberals think they are doing God's work by disadvantaging whites and asians to compensate for the inability of blacks to achieve.

My mother taught me how to do that, and other life skills, before I left home. Thank God she did. That way my teachers, female and male, could focus on educating their students.

I should note that I went to school in the 1960's and 1970's before many American schools became indoctrination centers for socialism and "political correctness" rather than educational institutions.

The Fairfax county public school system is the number one school system in this country. If you parents don't like it you can go fuck yourselves.

In reality plenty of money is and was spent on education. The majority of the county budget in fact. If you do not agree with the way your tax dollars are being spent you should fight for political change.
