Lake Barcroft

Does anyone know anything about Lake Barcroft? Is it big and nice? Can you use a big powerboat there or maybe land a sea plane?

Also, how did it get its name? Was there a famous general named Barcroft? Or maybe someone who had an eel farm there?

Only thing I know about Lake Barcroft is to take a long hot shower after swimming there.

why? Is the water very nice or is it murky? Also are the swimmers nice or will they try to dunk me and give me a wedgie?
