Ok, here is a one that has really got me scratching my head. Why is Dulles airport called that? Probably was once a big farm or dairy, but I am just wondering about it.

Don't you all find it interesting how places get their names? Fascinating, really.

This doesn't really answer my good question about the airport. Don't you find it so interesting how these things are named?? Also how about national airport?

I won't post those pictures that you asked for. But I can tell you that Dulles Roberston was a famous farmer who won competitions for his eels and goats. He also was a dairy farmer who used to grow the best milk. He also had a mill on the site.
