Stay at home FCPS teachers, doing distance teaching, should be required to wear body cams (similar to what some Police Officers wear) during their regularly scheduled 8 hour shift(s). Obviously, these could be shut off for officially scheduled breaks including bathroom and 30 minute meal breaks. These would be live streamed and available for public viewing, on the internet, with out sound and no images of students (or student names) would ever appear. This would ensure that tax payers are not providing full time pay + generous benefits for someone who is lazy and gaming the system. Of course none of this would apply to good teachers doing, live in person, actual class room teaching.

I think some rendition of this makes sense...so that there's some sort of accountability for shiftless teachers. They've finally proven that they are far more concerned about themselves than the students... even when essential workers have been facing off the virus since the beginning. But no, poor fragile teachers are special. (that's fine - then quit like several did in private sector - it might clean out the dead weight should have retired several years ago teachers who are hangin on just long enough to get that generous pension).

I Know there are academy teachers who work several jobs when they are supposed to be on FCPS clock.....double dipping. Greedy unethical narcissists on the back of taxpayers, many of which have lost their jobs.
