I just see manslaughter if anything. He was distracted by the crowd of iPhone weilding worldstar paparazzi that was intimidating his Asian partner. The cop pinning George's legs was an African American rookie.

It's me, Perry. I'm in purgatory and this is my penance. Derek is not racist at all. He just did his job. I should not have defrauded that convenience store. I'm white. Fairfax sheriff's deputies fractured my radius transporting me from court to JDC when I was 13. I've been subject to "excessive force" from FCPD during about 25% of my arrests but of those I deserved it 75% of the time. Had the red dot on my chest twice - once as a witness being cleared at a crime scene, once after accidentally eluding (long story but just a reckless charge lol). Didn't get shot because I put my hands up instead of in my pockets or glove box?? Fairfax one has been called on me too.... Maybe you've had police contact yourself and didn't get the shit kicked out of you but it's not because you're white it's because you probably complied.. Or maybe you're small and they didn't need to grind you lol
PS: from a medical perspective, it's more likely that the black cop behind Derek Chauvin was compressing George's diaphragm leading to hypoxia. Knee on the back of the neck is not a blood choke or an air choke. If he had been doing it improperly the result would be more likely spinal cord injuries or fractured vertebrae than strangulation. I can arrest to its effectiveness for controlling shithead without serious harm personally in fact
