Just man up and ask her out. If you flop, you don't gotta go back there, just slink outta there all red face & don't go back.
Just remark about how happy you are she's back, then ask her out. If you succeed, you win. If you wind up happy, think of what youdda missed by wussing out.
I have this nephew who loves Booger King. I don't like it all that much, but he does, so I took him there all the time. There was this new lady on the counter, turned out she was from Senegal. She was having a hard time taking the customer's orders. It got to be our turn and she had a hard time with what my nephew wanted. I recognized her accent as Francophone. Maman is from Montréal & she spoke mostly French to me as a child, so I started to speak French. She had a hard time with my Québec French, but she had it easier with that than English.
After that, every time nephew wanted to go there, she used to see us and tell us to get in her line. One day, I just asked her out. Surprise! She said "yes". We had some good dates and she wanted to get serious. I asked her about her being Muslim and me being Catholic. She told me it really didn't matter in Africa if you were from south of the Sahara. The first time she took me to her bed, I tried to tell her about some habits of Americans, especially white ones she might find strange. She put a finger to my lips and told me she'd heard about it and don't hold back. Most fantastic sex I ever had. After an all night marathon, sleeping till the next afternoon then a three plunge wake-up sex, she asked me when I wanted to get married. It struck me as kinda strange, but, I went along with it. We've ben married 2 years now. I couldn't be happier.
Her family thinks my Montréal French is pretty funny because they say they know about it, but don't hear if often in Africa.
